PRETTY MAIDS - Ronnie Atkins

On Monday August 2nd Kostas Purevil Kyriakakis and Elena Mihailidou had the chance to interview live on Metalzone radio show PRETTY MAIDS vocalist Ronnie Atkins. Ronnie talked about their latest release Pandemonium and how it is the best album they’ve released over the last 20 years giving out the essence of PRETTY MAIDS like the way they started out back in the 80s.

\r\nAs far as subjects and the title Ronnie admitted he likes to write about something real, that people can relate to. However he traces no difference between the way things were back when they started out and now as he still feels like he is 16 years old and he still enjoys what he is doing very much. Since next year the band is going to be 30 years old they are planning on releasing -possibly- an anniversary live DVD.
\r\n
\r\nOn whether he feels they have conquered all their dreams he admits he the reason why they continue is because they still have a good time. On the addition of their new bass player Ronnie reveals they have been friends for almost 25 years and it was planned for quite some time before it actually happened. PRETTY MAIDS will be announcing their European tour within the next few days which they hope will take them places they’ve never been before.

\r\nRonnie reveals the story behind the song Cielo Drive. After the interview you can listen to 2 minutes of all songs in PANDEMONIUM to get a more round opinion on what Ronnie claims to be PRETTY MAIDS best release in 20 years.
