Armored Saint’s forthcoming new studio album, their follow-up to 2020’s Punching The Sky, has officially entered the mixing phase. Bassist Joey Vera shared the following update:
“I’ve officially handed over the new @thearmoredsaint album to start mixing. Thank you to this fine engineer and friend @ohhroman [Oliver Roman] for helping us get some great drum tracks. Here we are sitting in front of the holy grail of @rupert_neve consoles, the 1073 Console from Sound City in N Hollywood where #armoredsaint recorded Raising Fear. Full circle indeed.”
Armored Saint/ex-Anthrax singer, John Bush, spoke with Canada’s The Metal Voice at the Rock For Ronnie 2025 concert back in May.
When asked about how busy Armored Saint has been with touring in the last few years, Bush responds, “Well we did a lot of work last year. We played the with W.A.S.P., we did that run twice and then we did some shows with Queensrÿche a couple years back. We’re doing some dates in Britain with W.A.S.P. which is going to be amazing as we get to play at Hammersmith Odeon, which I’ve never done. It’ll be fun. And then we’re doing like 10 shows with Michael Schenker here on the West Coast into Texas and then we’re putting a record (new Armored Saint) record out next year So new Saint record will come out next year.”
