Legendary thrashers Dark Angel have teased an “Extinction Level Event”. The title track from their upcoming album is slated for release on April 11.
Extinction Level Event will be released through Reversed Records is the band’s first album since 1991’s Time Does Not Heal that featured “9 songs, 67 minutes, 246 riffs!”
Bloodstock Open Air organizers have shared the new video below, along with the following introduction:
“Bay Area thrash titans, Forbidden, roared back into the spotlight at Bloodstock Open Air 2024, unleashing a ferocious set that proved the legends are far from finished. Taking over the main stage on August 10th, the band tore through a barrage of classics, bringing pure thrash chaos to Catton Park.
On May 16, 2025, powerhouse label ROAR! will reissue the first three, iconic records by Swedish thrash and speed metal legends Hexenhaus: A Tribute To Insanity (1988), The Edge Of Eternity (1990), and Awakening (1991).
Available on CD, colored vinyl and digitally, the physical products will also come with new liner notes and an exclusive history text. All formats got remastered by Ronnie Björnström (Mezzrow).

German Thrash-Teutons, Destruction, have released a video trailer for their documentary, The Art Of Destruction.
