Hypocricy has parted ways with drummer Reidar "Horgh" Horghagen, who drummed for the band between 2004 and 2022. According to both his and Hypocricy's statements, the split was amicable. No replacement has yet been announced for Horghagen.
Alestorm setting their sails once again thanks to their upcoming new record Seventh Rum Of A Seventh Rum due out June 24. The band is now streaming "Magellan's Expedition," which is a pretty epic track telling the tale of Ferdinand Magellan's historical circumnavigation of the earth in 1522. And perhaps more importantly, it's a blast of track that pretty much forces you to have fun.
