Τους Paradise Lost τους έχουμε δει κάμποσες φορές στα μέρη μας. Έχουμε λιώσει κλασικούς και μεταγενέστερους δίσκους τους και γενικά τους αγαπάμε και μας αγαπάνε. Είναι ένα σημαντικό μέρος του δικού μας metalικού Παραδείσου και είμαστε ένα από τα μέρη που συνήθως βρίσκουν τον Παράδεισο τους. Πριν κάμποσες εβδομάδες, στην Μαλακάσα, πριν τον King και με τους Paradise Lost με ένα Παραδεισένιο σετ λιστ, ο Παράδεισος χάθηκε όνομα και πράμμα.
Οι Doomάδες Isole υπάρχουν από το 1991. Ναι, τόσο παλιοί είναι. Απλά μέχρι το 2004 λέγονταν Forlorn και πιθανότατα να το άλλαξαν μιας και υπάρχουν αρκετές μπάντες με αυτό το όνομα ενώ οι συγκρεκριμένοι μέχρι τότε δεν είχαν βγάλει και κανά επίσημο άλμπουμ. Η ραχοκοκαλιά της μπάντας ήταν ανέκαθεν οι ιδρυτές Daniel Bryntse και Crister Olsson και το είδος που υπηρετούσαν το επικό doom metal. Επικότατο.
Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine recently revealed in a social post directly shared with his worldwide fanbase and Cyber Army that his forthcoming album (due out early next year) will be the final Megadeth studio album of his career. Mustaine shared the announcement via his alter ego Vic Rattlehead (video below).
Mustaine also revealed that the multi-platinum superstar band will embark on a global farewell tour kicking off in 2026. Also set for next year is a new memoir from Mustaine, details of which will be revealed in the coming months.
Υπήρξαν εποχές στη metal σκηνή που οι οπαδοί ήταν σε συντριπτικό ποσοστό άντρες. Πόσο μάλλον το ποσοστό των μουσικών. Χρειάστηκε να φτάσουν τα 90ς και να γίνουν διάφορες προσμίξεις (goth) ή να υπάρξουν κάποια πιο ακραία είδη που φάνηκαν πιο αρεστά στο γυναικείο φύλο. Άλλαξαν και τα μυαλά φυσικά. Το θέμα είναι ότι στα 80ς δεν πρέπει να ήταν τριψήφιος ο αριθμός των γυναικείων μουσικών και από αυτές οι περισσότερες κρατούσαν το μικρόφωνο.

Overkill frontman Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth recently spoke with Finland's Chaoszine about his journey as a metal vocalist.
For over three and a half decades Overkill‘s bottom line crazy method of thrash has produced some of the most significant moments in the world of metal. Now in the latter half of their career, the New Jersey thrash metal veterans show all their experience with “Scorched” sounding more mature, refined, and embellished with hints of more than just thrash metal.
Former Accept bassist Peter Baltes opened up about his departure from the German metal legends in 2018 in an interview with Dr. Music citing unhappiness and finding out he was a hired gun when Accept reformed in 2009.
Baltes: “I was extremely unhappy and I found out a few things. I had been with the band forever and I found in the end, in this incarnation of the band, I wasn’t even a member, but a hired gun.

Την Κυριακή 13/4 το βράδυ, όλοι οι (μεταλλικοί) δρόμοι οδηγούσαν στον Κορυδαλλό. Και αυτό γιατί μια απο τις ιστορικότερες ελληνικές μπάντες, οι Reflection, έκλεισαν ραντεβού με τους εκπροσώπους του Τύπου αλλά και τους οπαδούς τους στο Πολιτιστικό Κέντρο του Δήμου Κορυδαλλού, για την παρουσίαση-προακρόαση του νέου τους δίσκου με τίτλο The Battles I Have Won.
