On June 30th, LA-based thrashers Omicida will put out their third full length instalment dubbed Sacrifice The Bastard Son. Punishment 18 Records will handle the release.
Production was held at Stealth Studio by Giovanni Durst (band drummer), and Ralph Patlan who also mixed and mastered the album.

In late 2022, Sodom released a new single and video for the song "After The Deluge". The song is taken from the bonus CD of the box set version of the 40th anniversary album, 40 Years At War-The Greatest Hell Of Sodom.
Bassist Jason Newsted, who was a member of Metallica from 1986 - 2001, performed with his Newsted band for the first time in close to ten years on Saturday, May 20th at Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Newsted, who played bass and sang lead vocals, was joined on stage by two original Newsted members

Arizona-born thrash metallers, Flotsam And Jetsam, have been forced to cancel their upcoming European tour dates. A message from the band follows...
"It is with great disappointment that we need to cancel our June European shows. We hope our fans will understand and support us in this. Unfortunately, the costs associated with touring have doubled, and in some cases tripled.
Metallica performed the 72 Seasons track, "Screaming Suicide", during their concert at Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on April 27.
