How everything started for Death courier. Memories from the early days of the band.

Death courier began from Thodoris (guitar),Dimitris (drums) and Vasilis (bass and vocals) in1987. At that time for those who don’t know there were no studios, no equipment, and internet nothing that we take for granted today only madness and desire to play music. Telephone tape trading with friends and bands and patience. We wanted to create something monstrous since that particular genre of metal was just emerging at that time.

Sebastian Hed-Plikas: We started the band about two years ago with high ambitions and the same idea of what we should be and sound like – Powerful and explosive Rock n’ Roll.

Metalzone.gr: First of all I’d like to welcome you to Metalzone.gr. We have been following the band for many years because we feel it combines all the ingredients that make a great heavy metal band, power, attitude, guts and melody. Can you give us in brief the story so far?

Niklas Stalvind: Started 1995 when metal was not cool in Sweden, but we liked it so we played it. Got the first album out in 2000 and now we release the seventh studio album called Devil Seed.

Πως ξεκίνησε η αγάπη με την κιθάρα; Ποιους έχεις πρότυπα; Θεωρείς ότι μοιάζει ο ήχος σου με κάποιον;

Οι Bigus Dickus Hard As A Rock Covering Machine με αφορμή την Tribute στους Judas Priest εμφάνισή τους στο No remorse φεστιβαλ βρέθηκαν στο στούντιο του Επικοινωνία 94fm στην ραδιοφωνική εκπομπή του Metalzone με τον Κώστα Purevil Κυριακάκη και προκάλεσαν την συνηθισμένη αναστάτωση, τραγούδησαν ακουστικά και απάντησαν σε καυτά ερωτήματα.
